The Safety & Security Committee focuses on:
Community Safety Planning: Collaborating with residents, business owners, and city agencies to frame strategies and solutions for pressing safety concerns.
Crime Prevention: Partnering with the Baltimore Police Department and other organizations to promote initiatives like neighborhood watch programs and educational workshops on safety measures.
Emergency Preparedness: Ensuring the community is informed and ready to respond to emergencies, including severe weather, fire risks, and other unexpected events.
Addressing Quality of Life Issues: Tackling issues such as illegal dumping, inadequate lighting, and speeding to create a safer and more welcoming environment.
Advocacy: Representing the concerns of the Reservoir Hill community at city hearings and meetings, ensuring that our voices are heard when it comes to public safety and city planning.
